In the garden of Piet and his wife there are 30 meters of racing loft and 12 meters of breeding loft.
Half of both lofts are no longer in use, because he no longer needs that many pigeons for the marathon.
Our topper from Huissen thinks it is important in the lofts that there is enough ventilation in the loft, but certainly no appetite.

The current stock consists of the blood of various proven pigeons.
This includes a hen from Ap Peters from Zelhem,
some Jellema pigeons via Geert Tiemes from Didam,
and a few pigeons from Jan Janssen from Groesbeek,
Marcel Jansen from Ewijk,
Piet Heikamp and Marco van Doorn from Zetten
and the late Theo van Oss.
